Tumblr functionality for your WordPress

Turn your conventional WordPress blog into a Tumblr-like powered website!

How?  Its easy just download the plugin by Jeffikus of WooThemes and follow the instructions.

For advanced wordpress users you can easily update/edit your theme files, just look for the single.php and index.php or loop.php.

Just follow the samples on the video below.

I’ll try to experiment the plugin on this site.

Overview

This plugin works with any WordPress theme and activates a custom taxonomy that you will find accessible from your WordPress backend. You can then post to the custom taxonomy from the tumblog quickpress widget on your WordPress dashboard page.

Posting tumblog content takes seconds and it is clearly differentiated from your normal blog posts thanks to some in-post styling icons.
