If you have been on Facebook for long (or even if you are one of the few people left in the universe who has somehow managed to avoid social networking), or you enjoy iPhone apps, then you have probably heard of Zynga’s zinger of a game, FarmVille. It is, after all, the most popular game on Facebook with over ten percent of total users participating in the rustic amusement. It seems an unlikely sort of videogame to have garnered such popularity, considering the premise. Users are given an allotment of land, crops, and seeds which they must maintain and harvest in order to participate in a market, at which point they can sell wares and buy items to improve or customize their farm. You can also earn experience points that will raise your level and unlock new items for expansion. Of course, in any game that requires a certain amount of maintenance and scheduled visits, players are going to find ways to cheat the system in order to advance more quickly, and FarmVille is no exception. So if you are looking for ways to get cash fast or level up sooner than your friends, you may want to try some of the neat cheats to ramp up your farm.
Unfortunately, FarmVille is listed as being in the beta testing phase, with users as the testers. While this means that glitches can often be exploited to effectively cheat the system, it also means that the makers of the game are patching up commonly used cheats as soon as they catch them, so that cheats are constantly changing. If you’re having trouble staying up to speed, you may find that by the time you discover how to get unlimited funds, trap your farmer in hay bales so that you can move around unimpeded, or put a hula-skirted pig on a see-saw, the glitches that allow them have already been patched and are no longer available. Because of the tenuous nature of the black market on cheats, your best bet is probably to get an up-to-date guide.
Guides vary in price, from totally free to fairly pricey (considering the game itself is gratis). Some of them, like the FarmVille Champ Strategy Guide, will teach you ways to maximize profits legally, so to speak, by planting crops that will earn the most money and take the least amount of time to grow. In this way you can plump your bankbook at warp speed. You can also get experience and ribbons faster by this non-cheat method. But if you have no intention of doing things by the book, then you might want to try a bot software that will do the work for you (although using automated software could get you banned), send and receive unlimited gifts by opening multiple windows (then sell them for additional money), and level up fast by plowing, planting, and deleting cheap crops (you’ll spend some cash, but gain mad XP pretty fast with this method). And of course, the best way to cheat the game is to stay abreast of current cheat codes, which can often be found on dedicated blogs and forums.
