The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Sunday that 37,527 out of 94,462 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing.
The examination was given in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Sulu, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last November 2009. – http://abs-cbnnews.com
Released Sunday night, the 2009 nursing exam results continued the steady decline of passers with slightly less than 40 percent passing. 44.5 percent passed the 2008 exams, while 48 percent passed in 2007.
Graduates of nursing schools outside Manila again dominated the list of top-notchers, with passers from schools in Iligan City, Batangas City, and Tacloban garnering the highest grades.
A nursing graduate from Iligan City topped the 37,527 who passed the nursing licensure examination last November 2009, according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Sunday. http://www.gmanews.tv
