Last Sept 10, 2009 I received an email from Gen Kanai of Mozilla with a subject header Mozilla in the Philippines. I got so excited(sino ba ang hindi) and immediately read and respond to the email.

This is Mozilla’s first trip to the Philippines, so we are eager to learn about the Internet in the Philippines, learn why Firefox is popular in the Philippines

A part of Gen’s email, who would not be excited when you got an email from Mozilla. Hahaha..

The informal meeting was held last Sept. 18, 2009 at Oasis, Gateway Cubao.

We were late for 30 minutes, galing pa kami ng laguna eh.(palusot)

When we arrived they had already started the meeting and sharing some thoughts about localization of Firefox for Philippines. Some of our conversations lead to Manny Pacquiao and Gen as a sumo wrestler.

It was a great time, I think me and Sir Jun are the only one from Laguna(yabang ko).  Konti lang ishare ko, the rest amin nlng un!
