Nonito Donaire wins 1st title fight in new weight division

‘Pinoy Flash’ Nonito Donaire Jr. defeated Panama’s Rafael Concepcion via unanimous decision in the main event of “Pinoy Power 2″ Sunday (Saturday night in Las Vegas) at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

All three judges gave the fight to Donaire, who offered the victory to the late former President Corazon Aquino and to all his Filipino fans.

In an interview on dzBB radio right after the fight, Press Secretary Cerge Remonde said, “President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo joins the entire nation in congratulating Nonito Donaire in this spectacular victory.” - GMANews.TV

    Seeing it more than once, masasabi kong foul talaga yung ginawa nung kalaban nung Pinoy. In contrary, hearing all those noise, lets consider such factor. One more thing is the job of the referee, bkit naman kasi di niya agad pinatigil.
    pero sa lahat-lahat ng judgement ko, di parin patas ung nangyari. In this situation, im proud being a Filipino cause he played honestly kahit na nagdulot ito ng pagkatalo.
